On March 28, 2022, the Federal Government and the Provence of Ontario announced the Canada Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) funding agreement that will reduce the cost of childcare in Ontario to an average of $10-$12 per day by the 2025-2026 fiscal year.
CWELCC is a five-year plan and will implemented in stages with fee reductions increasing year after year until the average fee is $10-$12/day is acheived.
CBCC has opted into the CWELCC system and has already reduced our fees by 52%
Eligible children applies to:
Children under the ade of six
Children who are in a Kindergarten program and turn 6 between January-June are eligible up until June 30th
Children who are in a School age program and turn 6 are eligible up until the end of the month that they turn 6 years
